On May 25, 2017, the 54th "Africa Day" celebration was held at the Public Diplomacy & Culture Exchange Center in Beijing. Visiting Guinean Information Minister Rashid Ndiaye, envoys of African countries, guests from various circles and more than 500 people from various organizations attended the event. Chinese Vice Foreign Minister Zhang Ming delivered a speech. Ambassador Victor Sikonina, Dean of the African Diplomatic Corps to China, on behalf of African countries, presented a certificate of honor to the Center’s President Ma Zhenxuan for his contribution to the African diplomatic corps and African countries in the past ten years since the establishment of the Center.
